Manousha Inc. is the modern predecessor of the traditional Middle Eastern bakeries. There, the smell of freshly baked dough would blend with the aroma of thyme (Zaatar), while baking a fresh, nutritious and fulfilling morning meal – the manousha.
Manousha is an Arabic word derived from the root verb naqasha, meaning ‘to sculpt, carve out’. This refers to the process of pressing the flat, rolled dough with fingertips to create little dips for delicious toppings to lie in.
As the meaning of the name suggests, Manousha Inc. was founded to sculpt an innovative array of freshly baked savoury and sweet artisan flatbreads. Using specially chosen toppings and creative recipes, we transformed the simple, nutritious and widely popular manousha into a timeless delight for your tastebuds to enjoy at any time of the day.
